Weekly Photo Challenge: Unfocused

This week was definitely a challenge for me because I usually delete any photos that are unfocused. I did manage to find a couple though that didn’t end up in my virtual trash bin.

This photo was taken in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

This photo was taken at the Semmegoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Malaysia. Can anybody guess what animal is making its way through the trees?

  2. Is it an orang-outang?

I must have filled countless virtual bins with my unfocused collection, not to mention all the extraneous heads, limbs, signposts and street lamps that suddenly appear in photos – which I’m sure weren’t there when I took the picture!

      • I only guessed it was an orang-outang because of the colour!

I think we’re so busy getting our shot that we see only what we are looking for through the camera screen or view-finder. It is only when we look properly at the images on our computer that we notice all the glitches and extras..

My camera does not have a view-finder, only a screen and in India’s intensely bright tropical light I can often see nothing at all so have to guess at what will emerge!

You can guess how many shocks and surprises greet me when I download my snaps!
